For instance, 6 months in a part-time skill-demanding job at a rate of 15 hours per week would count as three of the twelve months that are required. Multiple simultaneous part-time jobs may also be used to meet experience requirements.

For qualified candidates, it is an appropriate and safe option to obtain permanent residency with objective criteria. In addition, the application can be submitted from within Canada, while the candidate has a suitable temporary status. In short, it enables a smooth transition from temporary to permanent status in Canada. * The Canadian Experience Category does not apply to foreigners wishing to prove their presence in the province of Quebec.
