Tourism visa

Tourism visas for Canada, also known as Visitor Visas or Temporary Resident Visas, are allocated based on individual applications. There's no fixed quota or limit on the number of visas issued annually, but each application is assessed on its own merits.

Visitor visas typically allow individuals to stay in Canada for up to six months per visit. However, the actual duration granted is at the discretion of the immigration officer at the port of entry. They may authorize a shorter stay depending on the purpose of the visit and other factors.

The primary purpose of a tourism visa to Canada is to allow individuals to visit the country for leisure, tourism, visiting family or friends, attending conferences, or engaging in other non-work-related activities. Visitors are generally not permitted to engage in any form of employment or academic study without obtaining the appropriate permits.

Completed application forms, valid passport, recent passport-sized photographs, demonstrated financial means, purpose of visit details, strong ties to home country, compliance with health and character requirements, biometric information may be required.
